Winnie the Pooh and Piglet Trespass While Chasing Trout

It was a cool fall day, the sky full with the threat of winter. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet stood at the edge of the river, the clear Montana water rushing past them. They were armed with their fly fishing rods, ready to cast their lines into the water. They had been watching Yellowstone on TV and were excited to try their hand at fishing in the great outdoors. It was good to be outdoors in a clean, fine, wilderness.

“Are we near the Dutton ranch?” Piglet asked.

“Yes, Piglet,” Pooh said. “Don’t disrespect Rip or the family,” he added.

Winnie and Piglet waded into the river, their fishing rods in hand. They cast their lines into the water and waited patiently for a bite.

Piglet was a little nervous, as he had never been fly fishing before. But Pooh was an old pro, and he patiently showed Piglet how to cast his line, and what kind of flies to use.

They spent the morning casting their lines, the peaceful sound of the river and the rustling of the leaves in the trees all around them. Pooh caught a few fish, but Piglet was having a bit of trouble.
